Halo 4 Release Date Announced
Master Chief lives! Microsoft has announced the official Halo 4 Release Date. The Halo 4 Release Date is set for the holiday season of 2012. The news about the Halo 4 Release Date was supposed to be broken at Microsoft’s E3 display today through a new trailer for the game at the end of their press conference. (But Microsoft accidentally released news about the game on their website before the official Halo 4 Release Date was announced.)
How They Announced the Halo 4 Release Date.
They announced the Halo 4 Release Date at E3 along with a
new trailer for Halo 4. After they announced the Halo 4 Release Date they
played a trailer which showed Master Chief and Cortana alive and well floating
through an exploding space station. (Spoilers Ahead!) The events of Halo 3 left
the two floating through space, but believed to be dead by their allies. Halo 4
is set to be a direct sequel to Halo 3. Don Mattrick, President of the
Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft, said Halo 4 is “the beginning
of a new trilogy.”
Halo 4 will be the first Halo game since the release of Halo
Reach in Sept. 2010. It will also be the first Halo game developed primarily by
343 Studios after Bungie relinquished creative control of the franchise.
What We Think About
the Halo 4 Release Date.
Here at TL we’re big fans of Halo, so needless to say, we’re
happy that some sort of Halo 4 Release Date has been announced. But even though we’re happy that they
announced a date, the Halo 4 Release Date is still over a year away from the
time we’re writing this. But one thing’s
for sure, even if it’s a long time away, I’ll be there on the Halo 4 Release
Date with $65 in hand.
